The Estate

A unique opportunity to own an exclusive retreat in a location of unrivalled beauty.

On offer to investors in this exclusive retreat are 452 residential stands on 874 hectares. They vary from 3500 square metres to 3,5 hectares with homes ranging from 300 square metres upwards.

Northern Hillside Stands (97) are located at the foot of the imposing Hanglip Mountain. There is a natural and steady fall of the land towards the ridge. Lower down the golf course and club house can be seen.

Golf Course Frontage Stands (92) with views of the greens and fairways are in close proximity to the golf course. Thick grass and dense bush in between ensure privacy for each owner. Ridge Side Stands (87) are situated below the ridge. They border on the wetland which feeds the Madakiri River. The abundant bird and animal life ensure interesting game viewing.

South Side Stands (182) have been erected across one of the meanders in the resort, connecting the land above the ridge with the area below. The steady fall of the land towards the south provides beautiful views of the Field of Legends, the ridge and the golf course.

The Residences

Residences of unmatched, timeless elegance dedicated to relaxation and repose, reflecting the African wilderness.

Monomotapa House

The Monomotapa House captures the spirit of the African wilderness. These residences with their rounded stonewall enclosures are designed to complement the huge stone structures of the period..

Pedi House

The Pedi nation favour square rather than rounded structures in the last century. Taking inspiration from their beautifully decorated exterior elevations this design reflects the rich architectural style in this region in its historical context.

Waterberg House

With the arrival of farmers and settlers in the area, European culture and architecture added another archeological layer to this very diverse and culturally rich area. In this respect the “Waterberg” house was designed.

African House

Africa House is an example of the dwellings which in previous years surrounded far grander stone structures. The latter can still be seen today at the Zimbabwe Ruins or at other sites where the Monomotapa culture flourished.

Suites used with the Monomotapa,
Pedi and Waterberg Designs

The suites consist of four individual bedrooms which are linked by walkways, all carefully placed to complement the homes. The placing and orientation of each suite affords guests and the home owner seclusion and privacy.

Defined proportions and elements combined with high quality finishes are carried throughout the development, ensuring a uniform standard of luxury and elegance.  Generously proportioned bedrooms include a lounge area, en-suite bathrooms with separate showers, television, safe, mini bar with tea and coffee making facilities.

Panoramic views are enjoyed through large picture windows while glass doors lead to secluded outdoor terraces and patios.
