Information
Route Description: The race commences on the 7000 ha upper escarpment with its craggy mountainous sandstone cliffs that drops approximately 2000 feet to the lower escarpment. A variety of single & jeep tracks challenge competitors with a fair amount of rocky hill climbs, followed by steady downhill’s and the odd energy sapping sandy area. Riders then take on the infamous Yellow Wood Gorge, dropping 1800 feet to the lower escarpment facing yet another challenge with the big five in the ever changing environment of dense bush, grass and wetlands. One more challenge awaits you as riders yet again take on Yellow Wood Gorge crossing the finish line at Ravineside Lodge -
